01 Information We Collect

Local gameplay information

Swamp Craft stores certain information locally on your device so the Game can operate and remember your progress. This may include:

• game progress and tutorial completion;
• high scores and gameplay statistics;
• virtual currency and purchased or earned game items;
• Swamp Pass entitlement status;
• game settings and preferences; and
• pending leaderboard scores when an internet connection is unavailable.

Local gameplay information normally remains on your device and is not transmitted to us unless it is used with an online feature described below. Removing the Game or deleting its local data may permanently erase this information.

Online leaderboard information

If you use the online leaderboard, we may process:

• a player-chosen display name or callsign;
• a randomly generated player identifier;
• an authentication token used to protect your leaderboard entry;
• scores submitted to the leaderboard;
• the Game version associated with a request;
• request dates, timestamps, and related security records; and
• Internet Protocol address and basic network information processed automatically when communicating with our service provider.

Please do not use your real name, email address, phone number, address, or other sensitive personal information as your leaderboard display name.

Leaderboard names and scores are visible to other players. We may reject, filter, rename, suspend, or remove leaderboard entries that are offensive, fraudulent, abusive, unlawful, or disruptive.

Purchases

Swamp Craft may offer an optional non-consumable in-app purchase, such as the Swamp Pass.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the Mac App Store and StoreKit. Apple may process your Apple Account information, payment details, transaction history, device information, and fraud-prevention information under Apple’s own privacy policies.

We do not receive or store your complete payment-card details. The Game may receive limited transaction and entitlement information from Apple to:

• complete a purchase;
• confirm that an item is owned;
• restore a previous purchase;
• prevent duplicate or fraudulent entitlements; and
• provide customer support relating to a purchase.

Technical and service information

When the Game connects to online services, our service providers may automatically process limited technical information, such as:

• IP address;
• request time;
• Game and application version;
• general device or operating-system information;
• network errors; and
• security, abuse-prevention, and service-performance records.

We use this information only to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Game and its online services.

02 Information We Do Not Collect

The macOS version of Swamp Craft does not intentionally collect:

• precise location;
• contacts or address-book information;
• photos or media libraries;
• camera or microphone recordings;
• health or fitness information;
• biometric information;
• complete payment-card numbers; or
• advertising identifiers for targeted advertising.

03 Advertising & Tracking

The macOS version of Swamp Craft does not display third-party advertisements.

We do not use information collected through the macOS version to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, and we do not sell or rent personal information.

Any advertising features available in versions of Swamp Craft distributed on other platforms are not active in the macOS version covered by this policy.

04 How We Use Information

We use information for the following purposes:

• to operate and provide the Game;
• to save and restore gameplay progress;
• to operate the online leaderboard;
• to display player names, ranks, and scores;
• to process and restore in-app purchases;
• to authenticate leaderboard requests;
• to detect cheating, fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• to enforce leaderboard rules;
• to diagnose technical problems;
• to maintain and improve stability and performance;
• to respond to support, privacy, and legal requests; and
• to comply with applicable laws and enforce our rights.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information because it is necessary to provide requested Game features, because we have a legitimate interest in operating and securing the Game, because we must comply with legal obligations, or because you have provided consent.

05 How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose limited information to the following categories of recipients:

Apple

Apple processes Mac App Store downloads, purchases, refunds, entitlements, and related fraud prevention. Apple handles this information under its own terms and privacy policies.

Cloudflare

We use Cloudflare infrastructure to host and protect the online leaderboard. Cloudflare may process leaderboard requests, IP addresses, network information, and security logs as necessary to provide its services.

Unity

Swamp Craft is created using the Unity game engine. Unity runtime components may process technical information required to operate the Game. The macOS release is not intended to use Unity services for advertising or cross-app tracking.

Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

• comply with a law, court order, or lawful government request;
• protect players, the public, Pale Rider 5 Games, or our service providers;
• investigate fraud, cheating, security incidents, or abuse;
• enforce our agreements and legal rights; or
• complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the Game, subject to appropriate privacy protections.

Service providers may only process information on our behalf or as otherwise described in their own applicable privacy notices.

06 Data Retention

Local gameplay data remains on your device until it is deleted, reset, or removed with the Game.

Leaderboard names, player identifiers, scores, and related authentication records may be retained while the leaderboard operates and for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, preserve score integrity, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

Security and technical logs are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

Purchase records controlled by Apple are retained according to Apple’s policies and applicable financial and legal requirements.

When information is no longer reasonably required, we will delete it, anonymize it, or securely isolate it unless continued retention is required by law.

07 Your Privacy Choices & Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• request access to personal information associated with you;
• request correction of inaccurate information;
• request deletion of your leaderboard identity, display name, scores, and associated records;
• object to or restrict certain processing;
• request a portable copy of eligible information;
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
• submit a complaint to your local data-protection authority; and
• receive information about the categories of information collected and disclosed.

To help locate a leaderboard record, include your current leaderboard display name and, if available, your player identifier. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, or your Apple Account password.

We may request reasonable verification before completing a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

You can delete your leaderboard identity, callsign, authentication record, and submitted scores directly in Swamp Craft by opening Leaderboard, selecting Privacy, and choosing Delete Leaderboard Data. You may also contact Palerider5games@gmail.com for assistance. Uninstalling the Game removes local game data but does not by itself delete leaderboard information previously submitted online.

You will not be discriminated against for exercising an applicable privacy right.

08 California Privacy Rights

California residents may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, the sources and purposes of that collection, and the categories of recipients to whom information is disclosed. They may also request correction or deletion, subject to applicable exceptions.

We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

09 European Economic Area, United Kingdom & Switzerland

Where applicable, Pale Rider 5 Games acts as the controller of information processed directly through Swamp Craft.

Players in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland may have rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent.

Information may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including countries whose data-protection laws may differ from your own. Where required, we and our service providers use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

You may also submit a complaint to the data-protection authority in your country.

10 Children's Privacy

Swamp Craft is not intended to collect personal information from children under 13 or under the minimum age required by local law without appropriate authorization.

Children should not enter their real name or other personal information as a leaderboard display name.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child submitted personal information through the Game, contact us at Palerider5games@gmail.com. We will investigate and delete the information where required.

11 Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure.

Leaderboard communications use encrypted HTTPS connections. Authentication tokens are used to protect leaderboard records.

No storage or transmission system is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.

12 Third-Party Services & Links

Third-party services used by or accessible through the Game operate under their own terms and privacy policies. These may include:

• Apple and the Mac App Store;
• Cloudflare; and
• Unity Technologies.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of unaffiliated third-party websites or services.

13 Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the Game, its online services, legal requirements, or our data practices change.

The revised policy will show a new “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects players’ rights or how information is used, we will provide additional notice where required.

Continued use of the Game after an updated policy becomes effective is subject to the updated policy.
